Enoch Powell was ignored, even scorned. It is becoming a world wide plague.

Unless I am missing something, I can't see a reference to Enoch's views here. He was scorned for his "rivers of blood" remarks on immigration.

Surely the report on the zealot in Kashmir outlines the way she is being back-heeled even in her native country for her views.

I cant help but think the Media is doing every thing it can to whip up anti muslim sentiments where ever possible. Perhaps Tony Blair is planning another war some where and wants public opinion to be primed and ready for when its anounced.

It seems to me that the mulims are doing a very good job of it on their own without the help of the media.

I may be seeing something that is not there, but I see the scenario developing as follows. Those western leaders who are obviously warped and devious (whoever can they be?) will very shortly bring out some sort of blanket legislation to prevent national or religious dissent/discrimination/etc etc , and either within that legislation, or shortly afterwards, there will be further legislation to quell all dissent that could possibly undermine the power of "freely elected democratic government". You can then define this in what ever way you want to define democracy for any particular purpose.

WASHINGTON, Feb. 12 — Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice said today that protests over cartoons of the Prophet Muhammad could "spin out of control" unless governments moved to keep them in check.

My italics and bold.

Are we seeing a rapid revelation of the agenda? (Or is it grandmothers and egg sucking again?)
