Try Me
What is a better Software ... Tuneup or Tweaknow ??
-pops-
I would be very cautious about using any of these performance enhancers. You could quite easily end up without a functioning computer if you don't do things exactly right. I've had to sort out problems caused by performance tweaking several times - and often it is not easy.If your machine is sluggish, you can do a lot by conventional housekeeping - chucking out old temp files, doing a disk cleanup, a defrag etc.
Boris
-pops- advice is very sound !Personally - I do use the Registry Cleaner and System Optimiser functions in Tune-Up Utilities v2006 (and its predecessor v2004) with confidence and have had no trouble whatsoever with them in 18 months.
