Bypass Firewall

Hi there to all windows gurus

I have sonic firewall at my workplace which always require me to login and then browse the internet. Moreover, there are some category of sites that are blocked by this firewall. In my browser settings, i have given "direct connection to internet" (meaning there is no proxy settings in the browser).

Can somebody tell me any solution or tool that can solve my problem, so I can browse my internet freely breaching the firewall.

As the computer is at your workplace, it may be a deliberate action on the part of your employers that you do not access "some category of sites" and thus they have blocked them.

If this is so, it would not be in order for anyone here to offer suggestions how you could over-ride these settings.

"Freely breaching the firewall" could introduce all sorts of problems for the security of your workplace machines - not only your own.

In some places breaking the firewall settings will breach the companies terms of use and can get you fired. If there's a valid reason for accessing these sites, tell the IT people and ask them to amend the firewall.

Please repost starting a new thread, and feel free to divulge a little more information as to your problem. From what I can tell, it appears as though some program has disabled Windows Firewall, in which case I would recommend that you post a HiJackThis log for analysis by our experts.
