Damo
Hi all,When ever a friend of mine goes to my website and tries to view the gallery only a couple of pictures show up and she can't see the rest of them, no red crosses show up just blank space where the pic should be and it's not a problem with the site because it's fine every where else apart from her computer. She has cleaned out all the cookies and Temp internet files but still nothing shows up, does anyone have any ideas why this is happening or any suggestions on how to resolve it?She's running XP home BTWTaDamo

Scarecrow Man
Perhaps the connection is timming out? If he/she is on a lowspeed connection, sometimes the connection will time out, thus not loading all the pictures.
Damo
nope she's on broadband, it's only the same couple of pictures that show up all the time aswell. It's really starting to bug us now as this is her website aswell and she can't view our pictures!
Scarecrow Man
Can you go to properties of the image, and get her to browse to that exact image, rather than viewing it on the webpage? For example:My sig contains a pic of the word Canada from one of my sweaters...Rather than view the pic in my sig, click here to view the pic alone. On your site, send her this link: http://www.mischievousspirits.co.uk/images/a_pic.gif (or one she cannot normally view) and see if the image loads on it's own.Have you tried another browser? Firefox, Opera?

tompepsi
I've been looking for about 2 hours for help about how to solve the same problem. My daughter (13) has her own PC, a Dell, XP home. She has a MySpace site but in the last week the pictures, photos, that had been showing up are no longer showing up.I have Zone Labs Security Suite on her PC. I turned that off, reloaded the page. Still no pictures. No pictures at the same web address using Firefox, Opera or IE7RC1. I've ticked the boxes to allow javascript etc etc etc. I've tried all the options and settings I can think of but I'm totally stumped.I have other security features too on her PC: Ad-Aware SE, Ad-Watch, Ewido, Spyware Blaster, Spyware Guard.Your help vastly appreciated. djohn
Hello tompepsi and welcome to the forum. Is it just on your daughters machine that the photos can't be seen or is it the same from your machine as well. If its just the one machine affected and all was well until last week then you need to look at what has changed since then. If you can narrow it down to a program or application installed in the last week it may be a good idea to remove and see if this helps. You can also try a system restore to a date when you know it was showing the photos, see if this allows you to view them, if not you can always undo the system restore to bring the PC back to its present state. There are several things that could cause this but because it was working fine a short time back we need to look at what has changed in the last week. Before trying the system restore try pressing the Ctrl key at the same time as the F5 key to flush the dns, if this does not help then copy/paste the line below into the run box from 'Start/Run' and click on OK or hit the enter key on the keyboard.ipconfig /flushdnsPost back and let us know how you get on and if still having trouble we will do our best to find the problem.
