VistaForums
Im currently running 5308. I must say its pretty sweet GUI over Xp, and it has some nice features. for example, you can hookup USB thumb drives/flash cards and use them as system memory. dagwoood
Hi VistaForums and welcome.I had read that Vista can make use of flash drives and in effect use them as extra system memory. Does this make much difference to boot times as I'd read that Vista can store the files needed at boot-up and it should lead to quicker boot times? scuzzman
Wouldn't touch it with a barge pole, to be perfectly honest.

Scarecrow Man
I tried the earlier builds of Vista, I found it to be quite appealing to the eyes, and after getting used to the new File System changes, I was quite impressed. But, this is still a BETA and that means bugs and crashing. A lot of software was not supported at the time, as well as some hardware.I'll wait until the full release to make any judgements.
