SheerGold
Anyone know of a utility that will show CPU temperature, amount of memory being used by each program that is running, cpu usage, and fan speed. It needs to work under Windows XP.
-pops-
First check your motherboard manual. Modern motherboards almost always have the facility to do this, or at least some of what you want. It isn't always immediately obvious or the facility might not have been downloaded with the motherboard drivers.Otherwise Everest will do this. Everest is a discontinued product but can still be downloaded from here
dagwoood
SheerGold, I use a piece of s/w called Sensorsview(download link). It doesn't monitor memory usage, but it does monitor(in real-time)temperatures, fans speeds and voltages. It sits in your notification area and can be configured to start on boot-up. Here's a screenie of what mine's configured to monitor:HTH, dagwoood.
