-pops-
Assuming you already have the Google Toolbar, click on the drop down at the left and then click on Options. Under ther Browsing tab on Productivity are various tick boxes. There may also be the Options option on the toolbar itself.

doug
More progress, I think. Sent an e-mail to the manager at the Carphne Warehouse this morning and got this reply this afternoon.Mr Chapman,Firstly, I wish to apologise for the delay you are experiencing with thechange to Talktalk. It was myself who processed the order in store and Iunderstand why you are annoyed at the delay in having Talktalk provisioned. I also apologise that the information I gave you regarding contacting BT wasinaccurate. This is the first case I have come across when the customer hashad to contact BT and I sorry that this has been the case and that you have had to spend your time contacting BT and Talktalk.Secondly, I have contacted Talktalk to resolve the issue. The last notesTalktalk have are dated June 6th when I believe they told you that BT wereblocking the transfer of the line(due to the care level 3 status of your line, which I had never heard of but believe allows a customer 24 hour access torepairing faults on the line). I am aware you have contacted BT after this andthey have informed you that there is no such service on you line. There isclearly a contradiction of information between the two companies. I cannotcontact on your behalf and can only deal with Talktalk. However, as it stands at the moment there is no need to contact BT again asthey have stated the line is clear to transfer. I have had the linereprovisioned and will be watching this issue very closely to ensure the orderis succesful. I will update you on our progress early next week and again Iapologise but I realise it is not apologies you want at thsi stage but aworking Talktalk line. Now I've been thinking about this protection thing and it's possibly one of 2 things. Many years back Herself was The Durham County Organiser for the WRVS. At this time there was all sorts of things going on Emergency Planning, Field exercises etc, where the Emergency services and WRVS were frequently practising in case the worst should happen. It is remotely possible that we had line protection because of that. Herself thinks it's more mundane than that. Her father lived with us for his last few years and we had Careline installed for him. Even so when I contacted BT, twice, they said there was nothing on my line. Will wait and see and report on progress.
