Scarthy © ® ™
Hi all ;) ,I love this magazine, and have just received the Summer 2003 issue. I don't know if any other readers have noticed, but.....Issue 1 Summer 2002 = 130 pagesIssue 2 Autumn 2002 = 130 pagesIssue 3 Winter 2002 = 130 pagesIssue 4 Spring 2003 = 130 pagesIssue 5 Summer 2003 = 114 pages ! ! ! :o 114 pages in the latest issue. There is also the inclusion of a 20 page "Broadband Bible" supplement, which actually makes the page total around 94 pages...Minus advertising and full page links for stories = Less value than previous editions. :( Come on PCA - More pages/ less adverts !Click Here If you want to order the latest edition. ;)

Scarthy © ® ™
Yes, 4 issues per year. It is worth the wait - It's a brill mag. It's the apparent drop in page numbers that worries me? :( Let's hope it's not permanent ! ! ! ;)
artist
Yes, I get it every time too, and did notice the 'missing' pages. It's a good idea and I always find bits to have a play with. :)
madboy33
have you ever thought that with the arrival of XP etc etc that there arent as many tips and tricks?
artist
There's still a lot I don't know, that's the trouble. :( The last useful thing I got from Tips and Tricks was putting the contol panel on the desk top. Very useful. :)
peter e
I like Tips and Tricks, too. Didn't know there was another one out, scarthy. I always buy them online and PCA usually e-mail me when a new one is due. Can't think why they haven't this time.Slightly off topic, but I've just ordered a couple of books from Amazon. It was a nightmare. Kept losing my shopping basket. And, when you find your book, it says "Amazon Price £whatever", then underneath it says "or buy new £cheaper" or "buy second hand £even cheaper". Click on " or buy new" and it takes you to another bookstore. Why do they have links to other bookstores who are selling the item cheaper? And when you select a book, up pops a gizmo saying "people who bought your book also bought these books" - and you lose your page again. Is it me or is it complicated for everyone? Then when I finally ordered and complimented myself on saving some money, on goes a delivery charge and I find I have saved just 8 pence compared with buying the books from W H Smith in town.Mmmmm. <_<
