Lamb Chop
I read in a USA paper that Microsoft is to begin charging for hotmail. Is this because all our ISPs in Oz give free up to 30 mail boxes with around 10mb each.Does for instance Telewest UK do it ? I ask because my sister has this one and is on dial up but uses hotmail. She asked for a mail box but was put off by them saying not to worry just keep on using hotmail. She is totally computer illiterate and just turns it on she says if it works it works. Her daughter a teacher is as bad, they had a bad time and couldnt get onto hotmail only to find on calling in a tech they had no anti virus and he cleaned it up for them and I hope did get them a free program and set it up - asking gets me nowhere I found BT and was amazed to see how much download you get in UK - mine starts at 70MB first level for $9.90 month. I went up to 250MB for 24.90. Most of the others incudling our part privatised Telecom only give 200MB for around that fee.By the way I grew uplooking at that Castle on my panel and I understand it will soon have a permanent resident instead of just now and then. -pops-
I would want a VERY much improved service from Hotmail before I would even consider paying anything for it.
r4may
I just use the mail accounts provided by my ISP. Up to 12 mailboxes with plenty of space, so why use anything else. ?
andsome
I use OE for all personal e-mails. I use Hotmail for registering software etc, when I don't want to be bothered with advertising from the company's concerned. I am certainly NOT going to pay for it, I would rather do without it thanks.
