nellie2
My wireless router has died on me.. I need a new one.Can anyone recommend a wireless router that will give good coverage and isn't tempremental? I connect through NTL so I need one that is cable friendly. :)
-pops-
I've just installed two Netgear DG834G (one for me and one for my son) Dead easy to install and reliable, well, they have been all the while they've been working so far.Got them from dabs. nellie2
Ah.. well this one has an ADSL modem built in, which I don't really need as I am on cable clicky
Chris
You'll want one with MIMO the new wireless buzzword...and it actually works.http://www.dabs.com/ProductView.aspx?Quicklinx=3MVSYou can turn off the flashing lights or have them on at a certain time of the day...good burglar defensive. Although they're not that bright and won't distract!I have the ADSL equivalent!!p.s. the review rating is not what it seems, the first reviewer didn't realise it didn't come with a modem and so marked it down. -pops-
It was more the brand than the model number I was suggesting. My previous experiences with Netgear were marred by the complex setup procedures but the new ones are, as said, dead easy.
