I decided to reload W98SE again tonight for the time being... until I can get myself a new mobo.

What a palava....... I forgot that you actually had to load drivers and things...... I couldn't find the disk for my ethernet card so subsequently couldn't get on the net to do the updates and stuff...........I got myself into such a tizz I had 3 chocolate biscuits.

I finally remembered that I had saved all my drivers to disk with a handy little driver backup prog that someone put me onto. Can't find the download for it now though........ :(

Anyway...... as you can see.........I got myself sorted. Will spend a happy few hours tomorrow tweaking stuff to get it how I like it

And......... I will try to stay off the chocolate biscuits :D :D

That is the program Moon.......saved my bacon last night. I shall download it again and keep it safe somewhere.

I have the full version of W98SE so no probs getting it on, it is just going to take ages getting it set up again.

I put this thread in the wrong board last night so I will shift it .......... don't worry andsome, I gave the rest of the biccies to the dog so I wouldn't be tempted to have any more. ;)

THAT WAS NOT A NICE THING TO DO, I just love chockie bickies, and will never fly under my own steam.

SERIOUSLY though, please DO NOT give dogs chocolate it can be very toxic to them. They should only be given special doggie chocolate. I am not joking, HONESTLY

well it was only two bourbons..... I had scoffed the others, I thought it was proper chocolate that dogs shouldn't have!!!

She is ok though and warning heeded! No more bourbon biccies.

It is proper chockie that I meant Nellie. When you mentioned chockie bickies I thought that you meant chockie coated bickies. I honestly don't know what is in bourbons, but would be careful. It's surprising how many people do risk a dogs health by feeding it with ordinary chocolate.

Mr. Invincible Mouse, be very careful. Mice have been known to become so hyper active when they eat too much chocolate, that they have suddenly turned round three times, and disappeared up their own backsides. VERY PAINFUL

In a similar fashion...crazy old Gits have been known to get too excited in responding to a W98SE thread and have developed horrendous chest pains and died...This is a word of warning to all old gits! ;)

I'm sorry mate :o

Of course my outlandish toast-coughing post was made whilst under extreme drunkeness and no OAP's were actually harmed!!!

I have apologised to Andsome (via PM) for my inebriated follies and stressed that it was a moment of drunken lunacy and not particularly aimed at him...anyone could've been a target of my wrath.

(Well anyone barring the Admins...I aint f*&king stupid y'know!!) ;)

Wub you all.

Shirl.
