I'm taking notes on what I'm reading in word and I wanted to paste the picture from the adobe reader into my word document. The only problem is everytime I copy and paste, even special paste, all I get is a blank/white image. I have viewing the image in mspaint and it works, then saving it as a 24bit bmp but it still will not open in word. Any ideas??? Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I don't know much about Adobe, but I don't think you can do anything except read uness you have Adobe writer. Even to read you need Adobe reader. I don't know but it came out a lot smaller than the original. I also could not get the image seletion tool to work. I would click the button in but it didn't do anything after that. I got round it by doing a screen capture - pasting it into a graphic programme, cropped it to size, saved the file to the hard drive then imported it into Word. A bit long winded but it works. Though I have never tried it, one could be forgiven for thinking that Adobe Photoshop should be able to help somewhere along the line. ɹəuəllıʍ ʇɐb Posted June 28, 2006 Report Share Posted June 28, 2006 I don't understand all the comments about Adobe and Foxit - isn't the problem in Word?What version of Word do you use?How do you insert the picture: Insert - Picture - From file ?Once the image is inserted, can your right-click, then Format picture, and adjust the colors?Regarding the size, on the same Format panel, can you adjust the size to 100% ? djohn Posted June 28, 2006 Report Share Posted June 28, 2006 Any PDF doc just save a copy to your hard drive. Say, 'My documents' Once saved, open up again and right click anywhere in the doc, select [Allow hand tool to select text]. Now the trick is positioning the 'hand' to the right or left of text and clicking, it will turn into an I beam for you to drag across the text and copy/paste to any document.With an image, do the same thing as above, point your hand tool to the left/right of image, left click and it will turn to a 'target sight' draw out your rectangle just as you would with any application to select the image, right click once you have the selection and choose 'Copy to clipboard' from drop down menu.I've just tried this with a selection of text and a photo from my router manual that is in PDF form. cozofdeath Posted June 28, 2006 Author Report Share Posted June 28, 2006 Thanks for the replies!Well the first problem was with adobe reader, when I would go to select image tool it didn't do a thing. So I had to use the snapshot tool. Keep in mind I've never done this before so maybe I'm doing something wrong. I then went into word and right-clicked and pasted. All I got was a white image. I even tryed to paste special and insert picture from file. It would show up in mspaint however. I didn't try formating it because I didn't think it would help. I just tried to recreate it to maybe post a pic but everytime it works now. ????? Not really sure why right now but I will try the link you gave me infact I already looked at it and I think I'm going to go straight for the pdf editor.
