catgate Posted July 16, 2006 Report Share Posted July 16, 2006 My attention was, the other day, drawn to a very interesting conclusion. derived from some official statistics on drunken driving.20 % of drivers involved in accidents were over the prescribed alcohol level.80 % must therefore have been below the level.Since a higher percentage of drivers are having accident whilst below the level, a law should be brought in to encourage drivers to consume alcohol prior to driving and thus reduce the number of accidents. I once read that 75% of all accidents occured within 4 miles of home - so I moved.Within a week I had an accident. I will never ever trust statistics - or ladders - ever again.
