troyteck
After today's automatic download of Windows updates, my computer was automatically rebooted. Upon relogging in, I have found that all of my emails saved in Outlook Express are gone.I have tried System Restore using at least six previous restore points dating back earlier today to one week ago. Each time I relog in, the message given is that restore wasn't possible for that point.I am using Win SP Pro SP2.Any thoughts and suggestions are appreciated. -pops-
Oh! I have each of those updates but they weren't installed very recently.I have my Windows update set such that I am notified of them but I will not allow them to be installed until I have backed up my system - precisely to avoid situations that troyteck now seems to find himself in.Not very helpful to you, troyteck. Hopefully someone will be able to suggest something more positive.
