Chris
When NTL perform there installations, do they 'dig up' anything to locate the cable running outside of the house. Then they'll stick the box on the outside wall?
Alan2273
When Blueyonder installed our cable connection they dug a trench about 3 inches wide up the lawn to run the cable to the house then drilled through the wall to get the wires in and then fitted the box. When they had finished burying the cable in the lawn you could hardly see it had been disturbed. They also had to cross about 3 feet of concrete adjacent to the house wall. They cut a narrow strip out of the concrete with a cutting disk, then filled it in afterwards. All very neat and tidy.
