Do you know for certain that your Windows copy is not genuine? There have been some instances where the MS checker has been mistaken and it may be useful to check with MS if you are at all unsure. They will also be able to tell you the options available if ypur copy is found to be illegal.

I think the title of this thread leaves something to be desired.... :P

I wondered if it should have had another "? " in order to get the correct meaning into it.

Oh no, that would give it a completely different meaning. It should have had another two.

The poor chap posted a genuine thread about a genuine problem with a possibly genuine copy of Windows and your assistance is limited to pointing out the number of question marks he used - instead of explaining that all it needed was an exclamation mark. Shame on you.

If your copy of Windows is not genuine MS may (depending on the circumstances) provide a genuine copy at a reduced rate. The only way to find out, as I wrote in my first reply, is to contact MS.
