We have a Police Inspector, not in Duns I hasten to add, but quite local as local goes up here, after he finishes his shift at about five pm walks 200 yards along the road from the Police Station to a local pub. He downs four pints and four Whisky chasers in a matter of about one and a quarter hours then walks back to the Police Station, gets into his car then drives six miles to get home.
