I recently bought myself a macbook white 2.0ghz and so far have been smitten with it. I have found out that the hard drive can be replaced as the standard 60gb onee is just not big enough. My question is what is the maximum size of hard drive that I can put in the macbook and where could i get one? Thanks in advance.

Mac's, despite having different hardware, use the exact same hard drives as any PC.

Apple lists:

80GB Serial ATA/100; 5400 rpm

100GB Serial ATA/100; 5400 rpm

120GB Serial ATA/100; 5400 rpm

I assume they have overcome the 127GB barrier, as Windows has, but I cannot find proof of this. Best to try Apple Support (link in my signature)
