Seshomaru Samma Posted October 1, 2006 Report Share Posted October 1, 2006 Can anyone help me uninstall a camera driver ?I bought a cheap PC camera and the driver didn’t install correctly and I want to uninstall it but if I try from add/remove applications in control panel (or from it’s uninstall option through the start menu) I get an error like this:>SetupDLL\SetupDLL.ccp(409)$7.0.100.1342@Windows XP service pack 2 (2600) BT_OTHER 0.64what can i do? ~Root~ Posted October 1, 2006 Report Share Posted October 1, 2006 are you wanting to un-install the software or the driver. if your getting errors like that just force a fresh install without removing the original installation. if you concerned over the driver, open device manager (control panel > system > hardware > Device manager) then go into the "imaging device" icon and select your camera out of there. right click on it and select "uninstall". that will usually completly remove the driver from the system. depending on if it was WHQL certified.then just proceed to reinstall the Manufactures software/drivers disc.
