Thos
I have recently changed broadband suppliers from Wanadoo to Sky and took a new e-mail address in the process. I check from time to time on my old Wanadoo address and have found that I am getting a lot of returned mail which I have never sent, 8 yesterday, 4 so far today. It comes from various "postmasters". Needless to say I do not open it, but delete it immediately. Is this anything I should worry about?Thos.
-pops-
This is really common, Thos. I'm rather surprised you haven't had it before.I've been getting emails like this for years. Fortunately my spam trap takes care of most of them and they just get deleted - which is what I suggest you do with them.
catgate
Has you machine been nobbled? Is it being used as a "remote" by some rogue set up?
Boris
I use Freeserve/Wanadoo/Orange and the last couple of days have had 10 times the number of supposedly "returned" (but unsent by me) items that I was getting until now.Mailwasher :D
-pops-
These things seem to go in waves. Wanadoo this week, BT next.If you'd been nobbled you would have hundreds/thousands of them.
