cocoon
Long time since I put the site here. Anyone who used it back then will find quite a few additions now. Always open to criticism or advice from others.Oneoffs website
andsome
Very interesting site. I wouldn't even know where to start on such a venture. My only criticism is the wide borders down the side. They seem to be such a waste of space.
cocoon
Thanks Andome.I suppose on a large screen there would be quite a bit of space, but I always build to fit an 800 wide window exactly, as this is the screen size most students and libraries have to put up with at the moment. If I use the percentage method to stretch to fit larger windows it looks terrible, as obviously the pictures remain the same size while the text stretches out into less lines.Funny enough, although I use a 19inch screen I rarely use a window wider than 800 so that my desktop sidebar and odd bits are always visible. -pops-
Nice one.Could you make the section headers (England's Glory... etc.) into click heres as well as the ones at the bottom of the section? Just a small point but I expected that to be the case.
nellie2
Very nice, to be honest I'm quite happy to view a website with space at the sides, all the content is easily accessible and easy on the eye!!
cocoon
Good point about the headers pops, I may do that. Although the thumbnails do link to the pages.I like to build to a fixed size layout because you know exactly how the content will look no matter what size window is used. Thanks for the input.
