However it is best to make a backup before such an upgrade; you know - better safe than sorry...To make the upgrade really quick and easy, I recommend that you install Batch98 from the Win98SE disk, then save all your current settings. The INF file it creates should then be used with the setup of Win98SE. There should be a documentation on how to use Batch98 on the Win98SE disk. From what I've been reading, even though it's no longer supported, Windows 98 SE seems to be a significant improvement over Windows 98.
