It appears to do it's job while quietly running in the background.You have to train it a little when you first start using it. It will pop-up and ask you whether you want to allow certain programs to connect to the Internet and so forth. casey Posted January 3, 2007 Report Share Posted January 3, 2007 I used it and liked it but it suddenly stopped letting me access the settings and scanning. Uninstalled it, cleared out everything I could find including the registry but cannot re-install it. When it should come up & ask for registration, the microsoft thing comes up with 'had to close sent report'. Pity.Have now installed 'Active Virus Shield' which is supposed to be good.It sounds as if Gandalph is thinking of Comodo Firewall.Casey.
