My laptop is connected by way of the linksys card adapter and the other by a d-link card.Can someone explain to me why when i view my available wireless networks it says that ' windows cannot configure this wireless conection ' even though I can connect to the iternet and it doesnt apparantly effect the working of the connection.The other computer does recognise the linksys as a wireless connection under ' open available wireless connections'Thanks in advanceSteph Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
-pops- Posted January 20, 2007 Report Share Posted January 20, 2007 I don't know a lot about these things but, I have a machine that works perfectly with wireless but, like you, I get the message that Windows cannot configure etc. I think it's because the card has its own configuration software which over-rides anything that Windows may try to do with it.I just ignore it :) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
