Lamb Chop
When I download a program I put it into special folder, so can find it!Then I like to run Anti virus and Anti spyware scans before opening.Have changed around lately so many spyware programs am totally confused. when I right click these days only get AVast showing up that works, AVG 7.5 Free edition expired on pay for bit, shows up but actually doesnt scan. Now is that usual? Or is it compromised or just doesn't work unless I divvy up some dosh?AVast is far superior imho to AVG Free anti virus - found stuff that had slipped thru the net and updates daily. Is there a free anti spy program out there that will work all the time and not just go to part time because it wants me to pay up? I also have SuperAntispyware but that doesnt seem to scan on sub menu either, not there at all, maybe I missed something ?But it - super - does find things. I run spyware Blaster as silent. Avast also seems incidentally to stop intrusions on its latest version which downloaded itself yesterday with my permission natch
-pops-
For your download checking, it might be better to use McAfee SiteAdvisor from here before installing. This gives you information on the content of a website and its "cleanliness". Quicker than doing A/S scans.
