There are, of course, many from other parts of the world, including the UK.I have a tendancy to be interested in people, so like to look at profiles. -pops- Posted February 15, 2007 Report Share Posted February 15, 2007 I don't think they are actually from Sweden.What I think happens is that people join and are required to complete their profile, somehow Sweden appears on the list as more or less the default and people just click on that just to fill in the form. It happens particularly with members that come for, perhaps, one visit only but very much so for spammers (which you don't usually see). I can't believe that Sweden is responsible for the majority of spammers that come here but, that is the case if you are to believe the profiles.There's not much point in people hiding their country/location as we can see their IP address which shows not only their country but also their service provider. I suppose, if there was good reason and and cooperation of the authorities, we could also locate the true physical address of the person by making enquiries of their ISP.
