Tom S Posted February 28, 2007 Report Share Posted February 28, 2007 ok i was instaling IE7 on my computer and it randomly shut off the computer wihtout warning and now when i try to logon again it shows this error message:A promlem is preventing windows from accuratly cheking the license from this computer. Error: 0x80004005I think that something got screwed up with the registry and it affected the license number? could that be it?and how do i fix this? like can i go edit the registry and input my product number or something and if so how? because i cant logon. i can logon till it loads my settings then it says that and logs me offif i have to reinstall windows how do i boot from the cd?i am running win xp prothank you anyone who helps Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
