Irene
How did the Thai meal go, Irene? Lets us know the menu. Although I have been to Thailand I have never had a Thai meal in the UK.Isn't there a good soup called Tom Tom or something like that?We had a lovely meal, thanks Thos. We had a selection of starters which included a variety of tasters. For main course, I had sliced roast duck Tamarind. I don't like hot spices like chilli, but I really enjoy the other flavourful spices in food. My duck was very good. The others had red curry, green curry and the other was a beef thai dish, which I can't recall the name. All was delicious. Good wine, excellent friendly service. Now you mention it, I think there was Tom Tom something on the menu. :D
Thos
Now you mention it, I think there was Tom Tom something on the menu. :DSounds great. I love duck. The Tom dish is, I think, Tom Yam, but I said Tom Tom because it sounds to be doubly delicious. Thos.

Irene
What was the name of the restaurant, and where in Bridgtown was it?The restaurant is called 'Thai Essence'. It's located next door to 'Brian James Furniture'. The building is on the left as you enter the Business Park and the restaurant is on the 4th floor.Good views from up there. You might even see as far as Burntwood! :D
