dadyassa
AVG should put it in the virus vault, where you should be able to delete it from.At the moment cant find a lot of info about it on net.

saints1884
AVG has finished scanning,it did nothing to the trojan. It says that it could not be healed,as the object was located in the archive. I have no idea what this means or how I can get this fixed.Any help or downloads to get rid of this would be great. dadyassa
Still can`t find anything much on it.It is probably hiding it where you have to turn off system restore to access it.I am not to sure about it so hang on till someone more capable of instructions posts. It may need a Hijackthis to properly clear it off the pc.Dont use one of the pay for trojan remover programs though. In the meantime you could download, update and run A squared

cozofdeath
Its a generic so its not in a family of trojans it just has characteristics of a trojan thats why it is being flagged. You may just be able to right click on it and delete it but make sure you do a full system scan if you haven't already. BTW - Grisoft released there new rootkit detector today if anyone is interested. Its Free of course.

Its Free of course.Thanks.I've downloaded it and installed it and, thankfully, my PC is clean.I don't expect the 'Secure me now!' path is free. The next time I run a scan I'll investigate further.
