Everything "passed" except for the ping test which reported :Ping Reply: RECEIVED (FAILED) — Your system REPLIED to our Ping (ICMP Echo) requests, making it visible on the Internet. Most personal firewalls can be configured to block, drop, and ignore such ping requests in order to better hide systems from hackers. This is highly recommended since "Ping" is among the oldest and most common methods used to locate systems prior to further exploitation.For the moment I am using Windows firewall built into Vista and though I have looked at the settings I cannot see how to configure it to "block, drop and ignore" ping requests.Anyone know? Even fewer will be aware of Shieldsup or GRC.Forget about all of this panicware which is specially designed to make people concerned about things they need not be concerned about and sometimes charging a fee to supposedly remove the source of the non-existent problem. I have been very pleased with it.COMODO from Here.I don't think it was a firewall previously, just the Defender, which, as you have commented before, found nothing. I used Kerio and was happy.
