andsome
Have you tried a System Restore? Don't you keep a back up in Acronis or similar?
Alan2273
Try this, Start / Control panel / Add & remove programs / In the left hand bar click Add & remove Windows components / Put a tick in Accessories & utilities / click next, it will ask you for your XP CD, then away you go. trackrat
When you followed alan2273's instructions was there a tick in the accessories & utilities box, and how many megabytes did it register. Also it is a bit extreme but you could do a repair install following the powerless guide ( I have used this myself and it works).http://www.windowsforum.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=10455
