trackrat Posted April 17, 2007 Report Share Posted April 17, 2007 I have had this problem for several months now.Sometimes when I boot the computer it goes and completes the splash screen and then I get no input coming up on the monitor, a restart always solves it.The other day it did not solve it and I had to resort to pops favourite program Acronis to get it up and running again.Since then the problem sees to have been solved, although I have no doubts it will resurface.Has anyone got any thoughts on this. andsome Posted April 17, 2007 Report Share Posted April 17, 2007 I had a similar problem once, and also now and again if the computer had stood for a while without me using it, but with it switched on, the screen stayed black when I moved the mouse. trackrat Posted April 17, 2007 Author Report Share Posted April 17, 2007 Thanks andsome, but I have checked all the connections, I have even stripped it right back to the motherboard and reseated all the components, so it has me and my brother baffled.It is only a minor inconvenience but one I would like to solve.
