casey Posted May 15, 2007 Report Share Posted May 15, 2007 I purchased a Samsung 4G pen drive but it came with no instructions. The problem I have is that it has a P/W area & a public area. Sometimes when I plug it in it comes up with a box to let me set how much of each I want but I can never get to choose afterwards which area I want to work with. Yesterday I loaded several items on to it but today I cannot get to them, it just lets me access the area I didn't use.Any ideas on how to see the one of my choice.Casey Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
-pops- Posted May 15, 2007 Report Share Posted May 15, 2007 I have a 4GB Samsung pen drive. The instructions were in a small pdf file on the drive itself. casey Posted May 16, 2007 Author Report Share Posted May 16, 2007 Thanks for the pdf, it is very close to my pen drive, possibly mine is a slightly later version. The trouble is at the moment I cannot do anything with the drive - enter password, format or even close it down to remove - it just keeps saying 'maybe in use by another program' or 'Please try again later'. I can write to it but am only seeing 2.5GB of it, the rest is password protected. I have tried it on 2 different partitions with XP on them & both the same.
