catgate
I do wish they would stop building the lad up into some sort of super hero. He is very good, but then that is why he is there. Both Coulthard and Button got the same sort of treatment and they suffered through it.

But the way the first hour of today's broadcast was filled once more with Hamilton this, Hamilton that, people are going to get to believe that there is only Hamilton in the race. I suspect it is what is becoming known as "doing a Madeleine". It is going to become tedious unless "they" give him a rest.
andsome
Good exciting race, but if the circuit is so slippery and dangerous, why the hell don't they do something about it? They take more than enough gate money. Regarding all the publicity about Hamilton, this is typical of the media. Once they get a bee in their bonnets they won't let go. This is why I have stopped buying newspapers, they are just like kids comics.

[F., from L. novicius, novitius, new, from novus new. See New, and cf. Novitious.] 1. One who is new in any business, profession, or calling; one unacquainted or unskilled; one yet in the rudiments; a beginner; a tyro.I would not call the lad awkward or inexperienced. However he is certainly new, unaquainted and a beginner to F1, though it takes some believing.
