It's funny stuff is love. Every body claims to know what it is but no one has yet been able to described it satisfactorily. It is used as an excuse for all sorts of contradictory behaviour. The deaths of thousands of people have erroneously been attributed to it, as have the births of millions more.

Yep, you can't love without giving your heart

Talking about HEART, I just love stuffed lambs heart. DELICIOUS. :D

Won't an ordinary lambs heart do?

Just an ordinary lambs heart with sage and onion stuffing. YUMMY

They aren't keen on socks but they like feet!

This is a million miles away from Alan's original posting, but...

I remember going to a company in France, in the St Etienne area, to do quality audit of their systems and methods (they were wanting to supply us with components). As usual on these jaunts the red carpet was in use. We, the purchasing manager and I, were taken out for lunch to a chic little spot in town. We had ordered and were sat sipping a glass of 'pop' when along came the Madame of the house stirring a bowlful of something that looked like cauliflower stalks in cold white sauce. We were each presented with a plateful of this and then she retired to from whence she had emerged. I turned to one of out hosts and asked what this stuff was, because it resembled nothing that I had ordered, He said it was calves feet and it was "a gift of the house".

I am not sure if it was some sort of symbolic pagan token or Gallic joke, but she came back fairly quickly and took back all she had originally dished out!!!

I did not hold it against them. I gave them the OK.
