:0 Oh no, not again!!!! :mega_shok:

Windows BSOD message...

STOP: Ox0000000A (Ox32320221, Ox000000FF, Ox00000000, Ox804E35E9)

I wasn't even at the computer. :scare: I had been using it a short while before, just researching on the internet.

Anyone any ideas what went wrong? :(

Try here:

http://www.aumha.org/a/stop.php

It also links to Microsoft:

http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-gb/library/ms793589.aspx

Typically due to a bad driver, or faulty or incompatible hardware or software. Use the General Troubleshooting of STOP Messages checklist above. Technically, this error condition means that a kernel-mode process or driver tried to access a memory location to which it did not have permission, or at a kernel Interrupt ReQuest Level (IRQL) that was too high. (A kernel-mode process can access only other processes that have an IRQL lower than, or equal to, its own.)

Basically, a driver was trying to do something it shouldn't be doing, where it wasn't supposed to be doing it! I'd try disabling any onboard devices you dont use like serial ports for example.

Many thanks for the links. :flowers:

I have bookmarked one or two for future reference.

Unfortunately, some of the information provided is sometimes a little beyond my confidence level in handiling the instructions!

All appears to be ok at present. So, if it ain't broke, I won't try to fix it. :D

On reflection, the only thing which I had installed recently, was Google Earth.

To be on the safe side, I have uninstalled it.

I'll wait and see what happens. :)

Google Earth caused me loads of problems on one of my machines. It didn't like me having a screen resolution different to what it wanted to use.

I chucked it out and I now use http://maps.google.co.uk/ (despite it saying UK, it does extend worldwide) or the Microsoft one http://maps.live.com/

Best of all I like live.com. I can see individual plants in the front garden, and can see my car on the drive. :D
