Guest northamuk
Started with Kit Kat, supposedly really funny Ads where Customs Officers turn their backs to enjoy the confectionery while the smugglers pass by unnoticed or a photographer does the same while the Giant Panda does a dance behind him ,sorta makes me think that dummies eat Kit Kat.Now we have a real dummy driving (maybe an Italian car) who is incapable of understanding that when you see "Push" on a door you don't stand like a prat waiting for it to open.If I buy a Kit Kat am I as stupid as them? If I buy that particular car am I as bloody dense as that driver?Ad agencies can be too clever.
Tankus
You remembered what the product was ?.....maybe not that daft for the Kit Kats ?

Guest northamuk
Mark2, Suggs seems to do a fair amount of these now, but I agree (I'd forgotten how annoying that one is}.
Guest moon
I've got a theory. The unwitting manufacturers employ an ad. agency wherein the guy in charge of their account has just been head-hunted , albeit unknown to anybody else. He produces an ad. that really makes the product look daft before leaving for his new job. The manufacturers go with it because they really are daft and they've spent a fortune on it anyway. Whatdya think ?
Tankus
I hate all ads that involve soap or finance ,plus some car ads are definitely loosing the plot......
Guest moon
My missus has to explain to me what the ads. are about. Perhaps they're targeting the cryptic minds of females ? :D
