doug Posted August 2, 2007 Report Share Posted August 2, 2007 Yup. Off on a special holiday tomorrow mid day. As I was 70 last April, the family decided that we had to have a combined holiday to celebrate. That's Anne & I, Katherine & Chris with 3 yr old G'son Russell and Susan & Dominic with 11 yr old Danni and 14 month old Lily, making it a party of 9. I seemed to have forked out for the flights and the bulk of the property rental.We travel out Newcastle to Charles de Gaulle with a 3 hr layover, then down to Nantes. All staying in the local Campanile and as we will be arriving after 11pm have been told that the reception will be closed but all our room keys will be left in one of the rooms with the window unlocked! Things could go a bit awry here. The picking up a couple of hire cars which should be interesting s not only do we all have normal holiday luggage but also Anne's PowerTrike which take up quite a bit of room.
