ɹəuəllıʍ ʇɐb
I don't think it will readily be available in our supermarkets, but if it is, I may even try it.
-pops-
Similar things have been put on the market periodically for a very long time - I remember them in the early 1990's when I was peripherally involved with the detergent industry. They didn't work then and I don't think that putting a few spikes or other fancy protrusions on will make them work now.Procter & Gamble or Unilever don't have anything to worry about at all and it shows a huge naivety to state"Watch out Unilever and Proctor & Gamble. A revolutionary alternative to washing detergent in the shape of three balls is now available in the UK and could, mean the end of washing as we know it, or certainly an end to detergent pollution..." Ethical Consumer, extract from editorial. If this were any good, it would have been bought out by one or other of those companies to prevent them being marketed - as lots of other inventions that conflict with their product lines are. catgate
Lakeland sell a similar thing called the Wash-It laundry ball. Well at least they were selling it when management bought one to prove that miracles still do not exist. She proved it fairly conclusively and at considerably less expense than Alan's find.
