The reason I gave my answer is because I believe that prabashk is running this in a networked environment - so presumably there is global protection already - he just wants the disable facilities.

In addition, you get the "consult" facility with Startup Inspector for Windows, while to get the equivalent detailed info in WinPatrol you really need the paid-for "Plus" version.

My dog went berserk when he first heard 'Scottie' doing his patrols. I had set several scheduled tasks (recording TV programmes) so every few seconds Scottie would 'bark' to get approval for the task. My poor dog just could not understand where the other dog was.
