It's funny - as you get older your tastes change and you seem to want stronger flavours.

Like white German wine - Rose - Claret - full bodied red

Like Mild Cheddar - Double Gloucester - Stilton - Very Seriously strong Cheddar...etc

Like Rolled up newspaper - Dried grass in toilet paper - Silk Cut - Woodbines - Players - Capstan Full Strength - CHAINS...?

Oddly enough I didn't. However I know the song from my childhood.

In the 40s we lived across the road from a farm, where I would spend lots of time "helping". They had no tractors or milking machines, and everything was done in the olde fashyoned way. As Frank, one of the sons sat on his three legged stool, doing the milking, he would sing songs, of all types, to the rhythm of his milking. Rawtenstall Fair featured regularly....in its many guises. Very educational for a young lad.
