AlanHo
I have a panasonic digital camera which can shoot video as well as still photos. The video files are in the .mov format and play faultlessly on the digital camera viewing screen - but I am having problems playing them on my Vista computer.Initially Windows Media Player, Nero, Vista Media Centre, Windows Movie Maker and Media Player Classic would not play them at all - until I downloaded and installed th latest KL codec pack. They all now attempt to play files but only for a few seconds - the player then stops and refuses to play further. It happens to all the players at a similar point in each movie file. The problem is the same whether I play the files from the SD card via a card reader or transfer them to the hard drive.Anyone have any idea how to get it working OK. -pops-
I think .mov files are Quicktime, Alan.If you don't want to download Qucktime, try playing them with Quicktime alternative which you can get from the same source as the klite codex pack. Scarecrow Man
7.2 works with Vista. http://www.apple.com/support/downloads/qui...forwindows.html I however, use the quick time alternative which also supports Vista.http://www.filehippo.com/download_quicktime_alternative/You might want to try removing the codec pack and installing anew from here: http://www.free-codecs.com/download/K_Lite_Codec_Pack.htm
