-pops-
You've missed a bit out of the word, Panarchy. - it is partition and if you look in Windows Help & Support you will see how to do it from within Windows. It's very easy to do, provided you do it correctly! :)
Panarchy
Ah! I knew it didn't sound right! Partition! So I don't need to use Partition Magic or anything like that?
-pops-
Not if it's a new drive. You only need specialist partitioning software if you want to partition a drive and retain data or something special like that.
Panarchy
Oh! Okay then! Thanks a heap! What CD (OS CD/bootdisc) should I insert and format with first?
-pops-
Ah! you've got me there.I've only partitioned drives in Windows so you'll have to get a reply from an expert in the other systems to answer that one for you. I'm sure there's someone here who will help.
