andsome
Not much of a test is it, five products only?43 by my count? SORRY, senior moment. I looked at the link to the top five personal firewalls. I did not devote enough time. I am happy that my choice of Comodo came out top. :D :D

Rick1
comodo it is. :lol:I do believe in using a firewall and I used Sygate for a long time. When I got my new laptop, I decided to find out if there was a better, free one. I first ran across comodo firewall with this review, and decided to do some more research. After reading about it on cnet and other places, I downloaded it. COMODO firewall has rave reviews everywhere and it seems to be a great piece of software. There's only one problem with it. Whenever you install software, you have to click Allow like dozens of times. It gets very annoying. I finally started disabling comodo until my install is finished. Other than that, I highly recommend it.
Alan2273
I agree with Rick1, Comodo is good but having to allow everything on installing software is a real pain.
Scarecrow Man
That's what the Installation Mode is for. It allows a program to modify the system with no user interaction for a short period of time. Comodo will ask you to switch to installation mode after it notices you are installing a program.
