I can well understand some people being called celebrities, with some justification, but you will note that I used the term SO CALLED celebrities. I like some of the music of McCartney, although he was awful as a performer. However the young lady in question has a far as I can see done nothing to earn such a title. :D Off topic still. ithonicfury Posted November 7, 2007 Report Share Posted November 7, 2007 i was wondering is it possible to deactivate a copy of windows xp for the product key to be able to be used on another coputer of the same softwareKinda, if you uninstall Windows XP from the computer that has it now, then when you install it on the new one then use that CD-Key and then go and try and activate it.If its been over 6 months since when that Windows copy was last activated (and not an OEM copy), then it will probably activate no problem (it may work if its an OEM copy but those are more keyed to 1 computer.If it doesnt activate it over the internet then use the activate over the phone and go through their little steps and if they ask (which ive rarely heard them ask) just tell them you got a new computer and are moving it over and you've uninstalled it from the other one and theyll give you a code to activate it.
