AlanHo Posted December 1, 2007 Report Share Posted December 1, 2007 A few nuns from our local convent have expressed an interest in joining our Tuesday Over 60's walking group.They plan on attending in full nun's attire - I wonder if people will think we are taking a bunch of penguins for a walk.I am going to refer to them as roaming catholics.We normally do a walk of 7 to 10 miles with a stop for a snack and refreshments half way - for some unfathonable reason it is usually in a secluded church yard out in a country village.It's a nice half day out - especially on a nice summers day - but a bit testing lately as the winter draws in and the cold easterly winds sweep across the landscape.
