doug
Friends bought a lap-top some weeks ago which came with Norton 3 month trial installed. The trial period expires on Christmas Eve. So after reading about problems with Norton I thought I would replace it for them . It is running Vista so I'm proposing to download AVG Free and Zone Alarm Free using their connection. Then disconnect and remove Norton following the recommendations given here :-Removing Norton Any further recommendations would be gratefully received. Irene
I don't envy you, doug! However, I just found this in a Google search. Might be worth a look at. :) How to fully remove NortonIf it is a later version of Norton, look down the page, where there is an update in a red outlined box. andsome
Personally, I would be very careful of any removal tools not given out by Symantec. I wish you well Doug, it's a pig to get rid of. :D
