IE may not be the most convenient, the most stable, the best looking etc - but it is the most popular and has dominated the browser market for years - despite the best efforts of Firefox and others. andsome Posted December 29, 2007 Report Share Posted December 29, 2007 When I first went on line with NTL, Netscape installed with the rest of the software. later on I.E. became default. No one can really say that I.E. is the cause of the downfall of Netscape, the end user is ultimately the one who decided what is the flavour of the month.
