iamwangzilla Posted January 18, 2008 Report Share Posted January 18, 2008 when start up the computer it does the POST just fine and very quicklyhowever, when it gets to the windows xp logo screen with the little loading bar in the middle of the screen, that's where things go downhill fast.basically, it takes the computer a few minutes to boot from that point, and the little loading bar freezes at certain intervals.I reinstalled windows so it's not like it's a bunch of junk keeping it from loading quicklydoes anybody know of any problems that i might fix? The reason behind it all was the dreaded Symantic Norton Anti-Virus. Once I finally got rid of Norton, my problems disappeared. :D Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
