Its like they've got some sort of default program in there and I just can't change it. There has got to be a way - it must be some sort of override or something. Anyone got a suggestion. The days of a single home page are over I'm afraid. Modern bowsers, like IE7 (which I assume you're using), now have the possibility of multiple home pages built in to them. Which rather defeats the object of having a home page, doesn't it?Anyway, try this if you're using IE7:First, navigate to the page that you want to make your basic home page that will over-ride all the others. Make sure it's fully down-loaded.Near the right end of the tool-bar you'll see a little house ("home") with a tiny down-pointing arrow next to it. Click on that arrow.First click on the word Remove and you'll maybe see MSN & some others as home pages. Click on them all to remove them.Next click on Add or Change Home Page. You should then get a little box that asks you if you want to make your current page as you Only Home Page. Click on that.If this doesn't do the trick you've possibly get some malware or a browser hi-jacker on your system. andsome Posted January 22, 2008 Report Share Posted January 22, 2008 There should be NO problems with choosing your own home page in IE if there is no other problem on the computer. :D I hope that one of the above suggestions works for you. If it doesn't then there is something else wrong which needs correcting, and it is NOT necessary to change browsers unless that is what you want to do so. Do you have website - I'll make that my homepage.Sorry lbk, can't help you there. ;) I use Google. :D I too use Google, it is by far the least cluttered and friendly page.
